6-gauge black battery cable set for Club Car DS 81-05 and Yamaha G2, G8, & G9 36V models

Fitment:

• Club Car DS 1981-2005 36V models

Features:

• 6-gauge wiring - ideal for stock golf carts

• Pre-cut & Professional Crimped with 5/16” Ring Terminals

Torque Specs:

• 5/16" studs: 8–10 ft-lb
• 1/4" studs: 6–7 ft-lb
• Always Check OEM Spec: Do not over torque which avoids cracking the post and ruining the battery
• After a week or two inspect for any wear or insulation rubbed off and retorque cables

Installation Order:

• Install all series jumpers first (battery to battery)
• Install controller/motor cables
• Positive (+) pack lead on first, negative (–) last
• Apply dielectric grease externally after tightening

Tech Tips:

• Key Off & Charger Unplugged
• Ensure Run/Tow switch is in the TOW position
• Disconnect the negative battery first 
• Reconnect the positive first
• Take picture before starting as a reference during installation
• Use Insulated Tools, Protective Eye Wear, Gloves, Remove any jewelry
• Do not mix gauge size cables
